How durable is it?
The refinishing coatings used by Fitzgerald's Creative Coatings are incredibly durable. Our finishes are designed to stand up to their intended use. However, just like a brand-new surface, a refinished surface can be chipped or scratched if it is abused.
Will my tub look painted?
Most definitely not! In fact, most people would have a difficult time telling the difference between a new bathtub and a refinished one. Refinishing is that good if it is done properly.
How long will it take?
A standard size bathtub in reasonable condition will take around 3 to 4 hours to refinish. The tub will normally be ready to use within 24 hours.
How much does it cost?

What if my tub is damaged?
Small chips and cracks can usually be repaired during the preparation stage of the refinishing process. Often, if it just a single chip, we can fill and refinish the damaged area. With careful matching, the repaired chip will be practically invisible.
Is refinishing just for bathtubs?
No. Refinishing is great for a variety of surfaces including fiberglass shower stalls, kitchen countertops and cabinets, ceramic tile, cultured marble vanity tops, and acrylic tubs.

Is there a warranty?
Fitzgerald's Creative Coatings offers a 5-year residential and 2-year commercial warranty against peeling or other failure of adhesion for bathtubs, wall tile, and fiberglass. Sinks, countertops, floors, chip repairs, and all other surfaces are warranted for a period of 1 year.
